Hello guys and girls,

Was driving to a friends house the other day and found this absolute gem! Took us a while to combat the thorns and stinging nettles, but we found a way in. Bit of a risky explore due to being in a area of curtain twitchers and coffin dodgers, always looking for anything to spice up their day.

We managed to be inside the building for about 15 minutes before police arrived to escort us off the premises. Lovely chaps and even showed them a few pictures and explained what us urbex explorers do, and he was quite interested (Try and get them on our side!), and he explained that someone saw us entering the building, and that it was not allowed, and we kindly agreed to leave the building quietly.

This scout hut once belonged to the 164th Bristol Scout Group, and was recently shut down due to them finding a new building to occupy. Inside there is still records of everything, and lots of scout books about surival and fire lighting etc...

Worth a look if you got 5 minutes in the Bristol area!

Haha seriously? You got caught there? Hahaha. They might agree what to build on there one day, they keep coming up with stupid and over the top developments for it.

It's been derelict for a very long time. The 164th were disbanded years ago.

I think flashlight & night silhouettes didn't help, along with the combination of trying to fold my 6ft 3" frame through a 30cm window frame. It was basically a recipe for disaster from the get go haha!

A daylight nose is less suspicious plus the neighbours can see what you're about, I liked it, Thanks

Because there's loads of professional reasons you'd be climbing walls/fences and in through windows?!

Perhaps people think I may be a developer or a council worker? Who knows, I just know I'd be a lot less suspicous of someone wielding a camera rather than a crowbar!
