Had been wanting to go to Harpurhey Baths for a while now, after missing out on the ones in Brighouse i decided to make sure i don't slip up again. Having never done a disused baths before it was something i was looking forward to.

I cant swim myself, scared to get my hair wet, went once or twice in school but decided it wasn't my thing.....
I noticed from some earlier pics from this place a few things have gone such as the ladders on the side of the pool and a large hose is no longer, anyway, plenty have been here now so onto the pics

Pool one still has all the baths around the top, or rather the larger cublicles, only a few have the actually bath remaining

Love this, the only seat left on this side, above pool 2 i think this was. With the sides carved out for your legs and the grooves for water i guess

Good report & great pics-this place always seems to take a good photo, night or day! I'm suprised this building has been just 'left' for so long! Well done again! :jimlad:

Great pics

This is superb mate, you have captured the emptyness of the place brilliantly.any idea what is planned for this place eventually?
regards
Stu

Yeah i know, lots more charater. There was a similar baths in the Walton area in Liverpool, near the fly over, grade 11 listed. Council left it to rot beyond repair, so it got pulled down and a few days later planning premission is granted to build on the site..... typical

Used to go swimming here with school, well over 20 years ago. Had no idea it was in such a state having left the area a long time ago.
