Went to reccie a derelict cortijo (farm) today, i think its sold its land to developers as its all been flattened with only a tower remaining. Anyone know what this would be, and why its not flattened as its right in the middle of the site?

The cortijo looks in great shape-couldnt see any graffiti or damage from where i was- but is definitly derelict as theres rent a fence on all the access routes and all the way round so its probably going to get demolished soon.
Round the corner from it though i saw this;

Which was a little too tempting due to the ease of access!
It was a holiday camp, and i say was... as it was completely flattened apart from a few street lamps,
Even the concrete pool had been ripped out!(WHY?):confused:

I dont think its part of the cortijo land as that was fully fenced off.
All that remained was this structure(i think something to do with electrics)

It was getting dark by now so didnt bother doing fotos of the cortijo, i think it will be a good explore though so hoping to get time in the next few days!:mrgreen:
I just hope theres not too many workers around as i cant just don a hard hat and high vis.... id have to grow a moustache and loose a foot in height as the builders are all tiny!!:lol:
A bit boring i know, i was hoping for more when i saw the entrance sign to the holiday camp!:neutral:

Hehe...anyone spotted the UFO in the left hand side of my first foto- just noticed it!!:lol:
LOL

Hi. :) The towers? They look like electricity substations. They have similar ones in France.
I've never seen a swimming pool removed like that before! Interesting.
