Post HAA Bolton Upon Dearne, Rotherham

Visited this place about a year ago.

As a kid i used to play on this site until the farmer started using the buildings to house pigs and he chased us of with his rice gun Aah the joys of youth lol...

The site is now really overgrown and some buildings are flooded, the command post is full of nasty green water. & the nissen hut has collapsed in on itself.

    Here's the aerial view

P.s Swedish if you're reading this, your beloved Volvo is parked outside my house on google maps

    On with the pics....

Wish i could get the command post emptied of all that water, can remember there been some stuff still hanging around in there.

Aaaaaah, cheers mate, this is the place I wanted to take Mendo whilst we were on one of our many drive arounds lol. I knew it was near to Rotherham, but after I'd seen it, I couldn't for the life of me remember where on earth it was lol. Had Mendo driving all over Rotherham recently with me trying to remember the place.

Lol, that's ok mate. I don't have a sense of smell so I'll be ok lol. Not too sure about Mendo and Fairygirl though! hahahahaha.

Will get up there at some point and have a look around.

    Thanks again,

Such a shame about the state of it, but interesting to see anyway.
    Really nice pics, Ragamuffin. :)

DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings.
