Finished uni for this year, YIPPEE. So went on a little road trip with Earth worm Jim as I wanted to to try my hand at using Bulb for the 1st time with an SLR and a tripod this time. So much to learn but still had fun, 2 hours went no where.

For those who haven't seen Llanberis before, check out, http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/sites/l/llanberis/index.shtml

Managed to miss finding this place, while in that area, as the sub brit grid ref is for the lagoon used as a bomb dump, which we found, and not for the tunnels as i'd assumed! we were so close, but pushed for time, and just couldn't see the damn place. will get there one day though! nice pics, and well done for finding it :) the story about the clean up job of retrieving all those bombs in later years is very interesting, seems the place was never really of much use, as the big collapse happened quite early in it's life.

Good stuff and some fancy camera used there fer sure !
I gues with the sorta 'demise' over the last few years of Monkton Farleigh as a 'moochable venue' this site is gonna be first on the list for a lot of folks as the new 'must do' ???:)
