looks interesting deffo a scuba job! there is an underground fuel storage system here from the second world war that Ill post up soon.
Is there any lower ground nearby, you could syphon it out

Lol, I suspect the water level matches the river level exactly and is connected to it through a u/s pipe.
I was expecting my first meeting with a "Pearns Triple Ram" pump.
Shame its flooded look like a very good place to look around.

After another look at the pics it would appear the water level is static, no tide marks, perhaps just seepage ?
