Hi All
myself and Fluffy went back to Holton Heath for another look round, we were trying to find the P15 building
that we missed last time.
We did indeed find the P15 building and a few other that we never came across last time, the site is still very
over grown and as last time we must of spent 5 or 6 hours in there.
Enjoy ( Fluffy never got his hands on my choc chip cookies this time )
The first shot is of the rear of P15, the front entrance is flooded and deep in mud the water must be a foot or two deep.
Although the building is flooded access is still possible.
Another structure we found is this rail way tunnel, it still has a section of narrow gauge rail in place.
The back end of the tunnel has been back filled with soil.
The picture on the right is an area just to the east of the rail way tunnel note the very heavy blast walls
Next back to the reservoir but this time we spent our time in the right hand side.
The right side differs due to the fact that the columns are brick not concrete as the other side is.
The other place we came across was a large shelter, it has a god leg entrance that leads to one shelter passage, this is then cross connected with and even longer passage.
At the far end of this is what looks like an emergency exit tunnel, though this has been back filled.
No trace could be found on the surface of the exit.
After we left the site we send down to the local common to find the Flak tower, and what an impressive structure it is.
We thats it for this trip, think we might just have to go again.
Well done if you made it this far with all the pictures
