The history has been done many times before - a giant WWII bomb depot in North Wales that embarrassingly collapsed and had to be dug out in a hurry. It's a pretty empty site, but with some impressively huge underground chambers - with brilliant eco effects in some of them :)

yeah spot on ben, i need to get up there, i did hear there is alot more to this place, hidden in the mine but u need to find a way in

Thee is a copper mine in Llanberis - you're not confusing it with that?

Even though there isn't a lot to see here it's still one of my favourites. What lens are you using BenCooper?
