RAF Dunkirk Was a chain home radar station, all but 1 of the towers have gone but there are a few buildings left.
Under one of the transmitter masts was an underground bunker but this is now flooded we could not get to the other bunker but it is also believed to be flooded.
One of the tower mounts with the last transmitter tower in the background, there is an under ground bunker right under the 4 mast supports.
These two shots show the entrance and the emergency exit from the bunker
The next building on the site is the Standby set house (generator room)
Next up is the receiver block
Under the floor of the receiver block are the cable runs.
Other structures on the site include this Orelikon Anti aircraft gun pit, the mount is still in place, Also in a near by field is this shelter.
Well that about it for RAF Dunkirk, if you want to know more info on this site go on over to the subbrit site at

or there are more pictures at http://www.flickr.com/photos/newage2/sets/72157622278285253/
