Not seen a report on this place for a while.Visited over xmas when visiting relatives (back to my homeland!)

Brief history: Bunker site at Greenham Common that housed the mobile cruise missile convoys in the late 1980s. Still encircled by 4 security fences, one of which is 10 ft high. Closed in early 1990s as part of the cold war treatyand now a scheduled monument.

WHOAAAA! This has to be the motherland for all British Cold War enthusiasts! I didn't realise there was anything left at Greenham - I thought I read somewhere that it was being turned into a nature reserve! Fantastic photos, especially your use of variable shutter speeds. Great stuff!!!

Nice photo's love the black and white ones. Only some of the place is a nature reserve, none of that was there when I visited the place back in 1976, it was just a US air base :)

gorgeous piccies and not a burnt bra in sight!

Some of the black and white ones like something from another world, excellent!
