this strange but lovely building is located about 1/2 a mile off the coast
the building was built in 1855 and has many modifications on the way
the large chain went all the way across to sherness to stop the boats

i set off with kaboom on a very cold morning with the tide out and the coastguards in full view, but the tide had gone out too far for them to do anything

thanks to the people/person who left the stepladder-very handy

on with the pics......
