Cheers mate - apparently it was the biggest NATO airfield in Europe at one time -so lots to see

yeah, this was on one of the Subbrit trips - they arranged quite a few. Well worth it and thanks to the organisers.

I remember that I had to visit UH back in the late '80s.

But I was only there for a short time to fix some electronics then I had to zoom off somewhere else.

nice shots! nice to see another part of the site!
ive done some work on the airfield alarming up a few of the haz's for a company who stores ALOT of data/paperwork

i've been told there is as much if not more underground at the site as there is above ground. anybody know if there's any truth to this?
