This base was closed after the war and used as a POW camp for a bit. It was then owne by Marconi's and at the time I went they were testing live radar on it. I took these before they fully removed the runway for qurrying. Check out the live radar on test!. Could not go near it for health and secuirty reasons. I think it's all gone now as Marconis have left the area.
