    Default Portsdown Main

Had a nosey around this place with Indy today. Put a few pics up on "Military Buildings" bit in the gallery. Cool underground armory and archive files.

Nah mate, it was already broken.

its not the same there now i'm afraid. from what i hear all but the main art-deco building has been demolished now, including all the interesting industry bit out the back of it.

hmm, thats a real shame... i live in croydon, and also sometimes in billingshurst (near horsham) in sussex, im really looking for some more places to explore that are quite easy to access and relitively safe...i have a car so i can travel somewhat....but yeh.... oh well..

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
