Thanks for looking!

Nice set of pics. The last one is interesting. Bailbrook college was on the main A4 out of Bath in Batheaston. They trained air traffic controllers from all over the world there, the place being run by serco-IAL.It closed as a college a few years ago and is now a hotel and conference centre. At one point in the 1800s it was used as a lunatic asylum and is shown as such on the OS maps of the 1890s.
I will refrain from passing comment on the valentines card.

Thanks for the information, its allways interesting to hear history of sites from others who know more than I. Do you know if this place is still existant. I travel to bath on a regular basis, but due to time restraints, dont have time to browse the local countryside. I laughed quite hard when I took the picture of the valentines card.

When you say a few years ago, it was sometime in the mid 90s... ;)

I believe serco inhabited a part of the Rudloe Manor site after the provost moved out, which would why the plaque is there.
