OK here we go with part 2 and many thanks for the kind comments on the 1st part :) Hope you enjoy this part as well

Starting on the Humber side beach at pillbox S0015749 and what I presume to be a seachlight building set next to it S0015747(again presuming WW1 construction period)

Next to these is what remains of the railway out to the estuary fort looks to have loopholes at the top of the wall and theres one the other but thats now buried by sand

Back inland next to the remains of what we were told were acommodation blocks on the pics we saw they were like nissen huts with brick surrounds and blast walls (trying to get copies of those )There are 5 of these

mate I'm jealous as ....great photo's again, any internals of the first pillbox and the building next to it

no mate couldnt get inside the PB might try the other building next time but its mainly full of sand
 
Loveky photos of some lovely defences, would love to chop back some of that stuff or even dig out the last pillbox if i was mad enough :laugh:
