Nocton Hall is a historic listed building in the village of Nocton, in Lincolnshire, England. Originally constructed for the Ellys family, it burnt down in 1834 and was rebuilt in 1841 for the first Earl of Ripon, who lived at the steward's house in Nocton while the house was being built. The US Army's 7th General Hospital was based at Nocton Hall during World War Two.Nocton Hall is a historic listed building in the village of Nocton, in Lincolnshire, England. The facade as seen from the north I believe.

The coat of arms of the Ellys family, this was very evocative.

Time to go underneath the hall into the catacombs!!!, well the old Air Raid shelters complete with signs and directions for a fast exit!! Even a firebell, this was bloody scary as the place has suffered terribly at the hands of vandals even since I visited last year. Time waits for no man or no building:cry:

Two of the old boilers used for heating the underground bunkers.

An art farty shot with a distant MO2W! Loved the light down here, even though we were underground!!

Now some random shots from the back of the Hall in what was the 7th American Army hospital. Really trashed in here and overgrown with loads of Buddleia bushes and millions of butterflies!! Lovely.

One of the main wards, open to the elements with loads of what looked to be , rubber hospital gowns strewn around the floor. WEIRD SHIZZ:sick:

Utterly trashed but not without a sense of history. That's all for now folks, See ya.:)

Thanks Urban. I really love this place. Such a shame to see it in such dissaray. Mind you it's still a very very impressive ruin in my humble opinion.

That is truly derelict! Nice pictures, and so open to the elements the damp will render the asbestos pretty safe.....thanks

Thanks a lot. The place really couldn't have been anymore open to the elements. We thought we might have to lightpaint in the Air Raid Shelters but the light was even filtering through the broken windows here.

Thanks Neo, not difficult really!!!:p Trashed within an inch of it's life now mind. Still an enjoyable little mooch.
