These sheds, wich are south of the hangers originaly housed the steam powered winches for the mast wich was just outside.

The mast itself was located on a circular peice of concrete south of the sheds.

Both sheds survive in resonably good condition considering their age

Crackin' post Outkast !! Exactly what exploring/ue is all about, research, site visit, piccies and report !! I definately need to get to Cardington sometime soon !!
 
Thanks Fluffy, I cant claim the research bit as my own as I had no idea what the sheds were until I posted pics on the airfield information exchange and was rewarded with all the info I needed.
 
I love the blueprint diagram. What an amazing place!
