Default RAF West Raynham Medical Centre,Morgue and Decontamination Room - July 2012

My Wife wanted to do an explore today (her 1st) so I took her to West Raynham as its a good one to start with. We actually came across an area i had not seen before and missed on my last visit. It is the bases medical centre which includes the morgue and some sort of decontamination room. It was in really good shape (not chaved !!) and after a bit of scrambling about we got in and i managed to get some shots......

1 point of note about West Raynham, its getting more and more boarded up now, The tower has had every window and door boarded up including the actually control area on top, not sure how much longer the rest will be open for either..

    On with the pics

If there is a fence round it then it must be worth looking at !

Excellent, very impressive. You'll have to give me a tour there soon :)
Why go through a door when there's a perfectly good window?

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
