Hi all !!
Its been a while !! Paid two visits to Lincolnshire in just over a month and thought it would be rude not to visit virtually all thats left of RAF Coleby Grange ( 5 miles to the south of Lincoln )!! Opened in April 1940 as a relief landing ground it soon found its role as a night fighter station and as such was provided with a watch office to drawing number 12096/41. It closed in May 1945.
Daytime shots.
The view from the former runway side of the airfield.

That last shot is spot on in my book, it looks even better on a big screen.
