Evening all.
The other day I decided to have a little walk around the village and see what I could find, ended up having a look around the anti aircraft emplaments on the east side of the village.
Honestly, I know not a single shred of history on this place and google seemed to know nout too. All I do know is there are 4 hexangonal shaped emplacements, with ammunition storage and two enclosed rooms on each emplacement. The control bunker I am told has been buried but is rumoured to be intact, more or less, under the big mound of earth next to the site. There is little left of real interest, they have been stripped out and of any fixings and used for farm storage for the last few years. They are in decent nick though, with only one damaged by a tree thats grown up the side of it and split the concrete.
