Hello all,

This is our first post so please be gentle.

We visited Upwood some time ago now, we think the back end of 2011. So we are unable to give a current 'status update' of the site. We didn't stay too long as hoodlums were shooting paintballs at us!!!

Hope you enjoy the photos...

good effort. We visited a few years back too.
You may find a tripod useful in the future, not that im criticizing, the explore is good

Paintballs??? Hope you shoved his "gun" where the sun don't shine when you caught him! :)

Interesting place, shame about the couple of soft shots. I'm guessing you didn't use a tripod or flash. Do yourself a favour and learn to light paint as soon as possible. It's not that difficult and you'll find you'll be able to get some shots where you have no light at all next time. Typically I set my camera up on the tripod and dial in about a 15 second shutter on F10 with around 400 ASA, then squirt a torch round all over the place. The trick is getting the "painting" with the torch even. But a few goes and you'll soon crack it.

Hope that helps.
