About 10 or so miles from where we live is this place. It's RAF Harrington airbase, used by bomber command & USAF in WW2 it was demolished post 1945 and reinvented in the '50's as a top secret MOD thermonuclear Thor missile site. This is all that's left of the 3 launch pads - the big concrete slabs are the blast walls. It's a grade 2 listed historical site - not that the farmer that owns it gives a ..........

Interesting pics. I was trying to work out why the colours were all odd and then I looked at your username...

At the risk of asking a stupid question, are you shooting on infra red film or is it some kind of digital post processing effect? Not many people doing things the old way. Looks great BTW.
 
Another dose of surrealism , like it :) as NC says the treatment of your images gives them a real what they might look like if they had been in some kind of aftermath
