Hi All

This was something that I`v been thinking about for some time so when Mr Fluffy said that he was free this week and did I want to go back to Holton Heath at night !!!
Well game on.

Anybody that`s been to this place in the day time will say how much of a death trap it is, with hidden open drains, broken concrete, long drops etc and it`s a real ball buster to see
where you are going so how could it get any worse.

WELL GO AT F***** NIGHT.

We had a plan but that went out the window because I wanted an Olympic breakfast at a local little chef.
The site is huge and is now a nature reserve but it started as a Cordite factory for the royal navy, built for the full process of cordite manufacturing.
It opened in 1914 and finaly closed its doors after WW2

Anyway on with a few pictures.

The above was a new find for us as we had never entered the site from this location before, After getting through the under growth we found the Mess hall.

Then on through the night to get to the Control trench with it`s fire watchers post on top.

And then on to one of the now flooded Press houses, You are going to need a boat if you want to explore much more.

The next port of call was the old acid tank farm on the far side of the reservoir.

Not seen this place before, but its looks wicked. Fair play for going at night and on being safe! Very nice photos!

Cheers Guys, we were going to do the other 3 press houses but we could not get to them, the main entrance route is flooded and deep with mud, there are a lot of fallen trees it was just impassable.
we pulled pegs on doing both of the Flak towers as 5 hours in Holton Heath is just a killer and home felt like a good idea.
