Default BARS 504, Hungary, June 2015

It was a relay station of a former warsaw pact digital tropospheric communication network intended for transfering orders form Moscow the WP-troops in western part of warsaw pact.
There is a 2 floors monolitic bunker located there.

Thanks for Your welcome, I appreciate it.

Actually it's on a 646 meter high mountain peak, which You can access by a 8.5 km long uphill asphalt road, so not many people has the opportunity to visit it. I managed to do so with a road bicycle, on a hot day, so for me it was a very fulfilling accomplishment.

That's different and interesting description. As its on a mountain peak then the graffiti artists will not bother to climb to carry out their artwork.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
