This is my second post, After two years of trying to work out a way of seeing this base i finally did it and it proved itself brilliant, very little damage and vandalism.

This place did not disapoint and was well worth waiting for, After a few failed attempts of obtaining permission(Ignored and calls NEVER returned) the old fashion "urbex" ways worked.

I was with a fellow explorer as well as my crew emma and deb and had harry accompany us, we seen quite a fair bit of the base and how good it was with accommodation blocks in good condition despite decay, messes in nice state, the airmans restaurant in good condition no vandalism as such an harly any tagging.

As you can see from my pics plus other explorers that have posted its a nice place and a good few hours of exploring to be had here.

Most of the buildings are open whilst a lot are secured and being a buisness park the occupied ones are monitored also with security monitoring.

Stunning views whilst sunset draws closer.

Buildings still have warnings on them for asbestos and god knows what else.

Some under accommodation shelters remain intact and not flooded.

Beautiful staircases in building accommodations.

Hi great photos, I visited the site about 5 years ago and got permission to have a look around. The fire tower you are on about is a water tower to supply the camp, just thought I would let you know
