This one has probably been done to death over the years. Most of the little ones have gone now. There is only the Avro Shackelton & another twin engined jet left in the fenced bit & the twin engined prop one at the entrance.
Shackleton info here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avro_Shackleton
The rear end of this aircraft must have been really awkward to access in flight as it's so confined.
Pics - mostly internals as you will probably have seen this derelict from every angle possible by now.

Thanks for looking.

A nice set and the images of the Shac's interior are perhaps appropriate, given Remembrance Day. Brings home in a very gut wrenching way the sheer terror that the rear and mid upper gunner of a Lancaster would have had, as they fought centrifugal force to find their parachutes and leave a doomed aircraft. Like Smiler I had a flight in a Lincoln as a young lad and had similar impressions - only later as my interests grew did I really fully understand what that space could/might become.
