    Default RAF Tealing - WW2

    Hi folks,

A video I made of the abandoned WW2 RAF Tealing :)

Former RAF Tealing and abandoned pig farm. A very errie place; would make a great location for a zombie film.
RAF Tealing was built at the height of WW2. The majority of the footage is based around the control tower. However, you can clearly see the pig farm that occupied the site and converted a lot of the buildings. I'm not sure when the farm closed but the majority of buildings lie empty and falling to pieces.
You can see the two runaways that cross over behind the wind turbine - one side now occupied by chicken coops.

The video isn't working for me. "Either not available or awaiting for final processing" apparently.

It works fine for me. I quite enjoyed it apart from the rather disconcerting background sounds!

DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
