I have always had a fascination with these dishes.four great lumps of metal dumped in the middle of a farmers field.i did visit them a few years ago but did not post them as I was holding out for some hopefully better shots.i did a few days solo exploring in Lincolnshire.and this was going to be my first stop.i was hoping to get a sunrise.so I set off at four in the morning and got there half and hour before sunrise.i made my way across the field.there was a heavy frost so it was cold.as I was waiting I had a wander around taking the sheer size of these things in and making friends with the sheep.when the sun rose the reflections on the metal was lovely.it was so nice I kept forgetting to take photos.anyway on with the photos and hope you enjoy my take on stenigot.
Another reason I wanted to go back was to visit the building up the other end of the field as I did not see it before.i enjoyed this.i had a good wander around first.seeing some lovely hanging lights.and some good decay in here.the building is surrounded totally by thick concrete blast walls
