I love the mood and perspective of that first photo, thanks!

I have moved them to their own thread in the relevant location forum which is where they belong.

Even though this site is trashed I really enjoyed it here.and the setting is so nice.I was here ages you got a lovely set from here

Surprised there's still that much of it left.
Haven't been by there in a couple of years.
Heard that the whole site was getting levelled to make way for a new hotel complex.
There were a few empty houses there aswell.

Thats an unusual sign! lol.

All depends on one's age and where you worked - Part A was seen on all active MOD sites that had 3rd party visitors on a regular basis. First para in part B is common sense - one did not want photographic evidence of what was being tested leaked to the Enemy. Unauthorised radio equipment could have buggered up the control signals and drugged and drunk staff do not mix well with live detonators and Torpex! The second para was a sign of the times and similar could be seen displayed on many factory entrances, not just Government establishments. Betting and gambling was very much frowned upon - still went on all the same, but you had been warned!

It doesn't depend on ones age, it's a standard sign at ALL MoD sites countrywide, old or current. One of the reasons why football pools and lottery syndicates are still so prevalent within civil service circles, because technically it's not gambling.
