Decided to go look at this heavy anti aircraft gun site one afternoon.situated near great Yarmouth it was used to defend fritton lake were they was tesying amphibious tanks.the battery is a standard design with four gun pits and a command post.a bit further down the road is another bit of the site.were there would have been stores and other buildings situated.sadly the farmer uses the site as a dumping ground.the nearest pit is full of chopped down trees which someone has tried having a bonfire in it resulting of some scorching of the brickwork. the second pit is full of scrap metal, the third is just full of junk and luckily the fourth is clean.the command post is still there.and relatively clean.its a shame the farmer has treated it this way.obviusly no care for heritage just a handy tip.

The command post, there was several entrances in here.
