Default Abandoned Bomb Store, Cambridgeshire, 2018

    Intro
This is a plain and easy explore. Some buildings and decay, what else do you need apart from tripping down a few embankments.

    The Photos
I'm going to start with an edited photo from the explore.

And yes, I'm still giggling about the sheer randomness of this.

    Anyway, now the "serious" photos.

Whist walking to another building we noticed 5.56mm, blank, casing on the floor. This instantly made thing more tense as there could be a chance of a training exercise, last thing we wanted was to be mistaken for enemy.

Thankfully, this is all we found about half a magazines worth.

Yeah the MOD do tend to use abandoned land for training as well as fields. The worry is that brass casings tend to weather very quick and they're still shiny when I went.

Shame to see the damage and tagging, used to be very untouched here.

It is a shame. I went here a while back, before I joined this forum, and some buildings were inaccessible. It is a shame about the graffiti.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
