Murrell Green Pillboxes

A few weeks ago I decided to go and visit pillboxes near Murrell Green, Hampshire. What should I've expected from the approximate GPS coordinates downloaded the day before? Not much my friend, not much!

I however managed to enter 6 pillboxes out of the 11 I eventually spotted. From nice farmers showing me the area to hunters urging me to leave the fields, I had an overall great afternoon! Definitely recommended for solo explores!

Fabulous pillboxes, pipopo. Really enjoyed seeing those.

Yeah, I was wondering that about the last but one pic...rather a lot of bridges there. And what was all the stuff at the side of the line? It looks like it's been used as a dumping ground by people too blinking lazy to go to the tip. :icon_evil

oooooh you've been busy pipopo with this lot of pillboxes. Not seen these ones before, then again, around me i can't find any Excellent pics mate, and like everyone else has asked, how many bridges lol.

Not sure if there's 4 there, as there looks like a metal one just behind and under the smaller one.

They're mostly T24's Sal but look quite different with that concrete roof, which I've not seen before either (presumably used as camouflage to make it look like the pitched roof of a cottage...or perhaps just reinforcement). I think the really square one is a T22, but don't quote me on that one!

There are 3 bridges on the photo. That is without the one I was standing one while I took it! ;-)

The metal thingy is not a bridge, just something from the train line. You can see it better on the pic just before if interested!

The middle bridge is the M3, not sure about the 2 others...
