Had a good old mooch around this place, pity you could not get in to the tanks but hey-ho.
I can`t even find a name for the place let alone any information so if anybody knows any gen please post it up in the comment section under my post - cheers guys.

Hi mate trying for the last few days to find this place and getting it mixed up with the Swanpool site, is this behind Pendennis?

This is not actually a Royal Navy fuel depot though it was brought under Navy control during both world wars. It is below Pendenis castle just over the road from the dockyard. It was built by the dockyard owners as a place to store fuel removed from ships while they were in dry dock, during WW1 the navy used Falmouth as a sub dockyard from Plymouth during WW2 it was under RN control but used by the US Navy. After the war it was handed back to its civilian owners who got a number of RN contracts as a thank you.

Thanks, I found this site today while looking for the Swanpool Depot (I got my sites mixed up 😂) which there’s almost nothing left of that I can tell! There’s hardly any information about this site that I can find, as above I couldnt even find a name of the place or even a mention of it on Google!
