Ooh, interesting looking place. There isn't much left of the old radar systems that hasn't been taken over for other uses.

there is the mounts and another control room on top of the hill we kinda got busted by the land owner and had to go so no pics of that half of the site

Blimey! I've read a couple of reports of land owner chases from this place.I must be rally jammy or he must have been nursing a mother of a hangover from New Years Eve.Took a look around there,in the ROC post and in the field across the road on the 3rd Jan with tommyramone. The only person we saw was the geezer who lives in the old guard house-he just stood and watched us from his porch while we went into the ROC,waved back at us when we waved at him.We did say at the time that maybe he had phoned the police and was watching and waiting to see us get busted, didn't happen, must have been on site for about 3 hours.tommyramone was more concerned about being spotted from Merrion Camp,I, on the other hand was concerned about my leaky flask and my now liquid sandwiches!

the farmer went mental on us came charging over in a 110 landrover n jumped out and gave us a load of abuse about his fence and how we should not be on his land was quite funny because he is about 60 odd and has a stupidly welsh accent and a high pitch voice so was quite hard to take seriously
