Stannington ROC - Northumberland

Was working in Northumberland recently and noticed this was close by.



Hatch was locked and I havnt aquired a key yet shame as subrit pics show it as in good condition - topside was best ive seen so far (which isnt many to be fair)



Had this weird tripod set up over the top and tied to the anchor points - anybody tell me what it is? No wires visible to it!



Couldnt hang around long, sun was setting and the sheep looked menacing



Hope to get back again sometime but with a key this time!!!

This is private now, it was purchased by a local guy and he has done a really wonderful job restoring it internally. Please contact the guy who has done it up, his phone number and name is on a sign next to it.

Wow that'd be great to see, dont get up that way too often (its over 200 miles from me) but when I do i'll try n get a look. Cheers for info.
