this is still in good condition although full of junk.
there was what appeared to be loads of suspender belts in there, wierd !

Ah, I've only recently learnt that these are called seagull trenches, so it's really nice to see one. Are there any other emplacements nearby, or is this on it's own? Love the brickwork. Good work. :)
 
hi foxy,yeah,there is a roc post about 60/70 yards away[this metric nonsense will never catch on]:mrgreen:
I checked it out and the photos are on the roc post forum.
the seagull trench was built to cover the airfield at stoke orchard,gloucestershire.
you can check out the site on google earth,just type in stoke orchard
