Interesting little tower this one. Spotted it while searching on Google maps, as you do, looking for new stuff to explore.

Sorry for the amount of HDR but the weather was appalling and it would of looked miserable on regular pics.
My camera got soaked!

For scale I put myself in the pic

Note there is a slight lean to it, due to the coastal winds that never seem to stop hitting the tower!

Thanks,

What an unusual feature. I love the shot from below looking through the inside. At first I expected it to be made of brick but it isn't!

Thanks for sharing. :)

i love it mate.
not sure why but i think its a cracking tower.

when we going?

That is awsome. There would have been a great amount of work put into making this structure, id love to see this place. Great pics.

Nice pics of a strange structure! :) You should try photographing it at night with some big lights-it'd look really cool!

I remember reading somewhere that the Kingswear Daymark was built by P&O quite a while ago... Back when it was "Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company" this name dates back to
the 1830's so the Daymark would be in the same league.

Nice pics dude we should go back with my big torch and light paint it
