Situated on private land near fort picklecombe, I had seen these several times from a boat, there seems to be two SL positions, with another building to house the generator... dating from WWII used as fighting lights for the local coastal artillery... the light would of been an AA type on a modified mount...

some of the steel runners remain and where the cables were routed can clearly be seen... interesting site....but please dont bother loacal residents and check the tides!

Don't know how I managed to miss this thread. As Krela said, surprisingly clean. :)

What's the other building we get a glimpse of?
 
Is that the place across the sound from Bovisand? It looks familiar, I did a weekend's diving at bovi a little while ago and kept eyeing it up. Nice
