Well, what a surprise. Our boat is in Invergordon because of the weather, so thought I'd go for a dander up the road. Imagine my surprise when we happened upon this little beauty. It is on a bend, just facing the main road, and I guess faces that way in case of an invasion from land elsewhere, necessitating the need to defend the port, distillery etc.

Only 4 pcs to give a flavour. Enjoy

On the way back, I stopped off at the Cally to watch the Dons give Celtic a damned good gubbin, so unsurprisingly, I'm a wee bit tired and emotional.

There's a few bits'n'bobs around InverG, including a cracking old church, which I really must do sometime soon.....

I must try to get a look at those tunnels if I get another chance to get ashore this trip.

I suppose I'll need to take the Crazy Dutch Bastard too, since I had to borrow his camera having left mine at home this time round.
