After my failed re-visit to The Zachary Merton home in Woodhouse Eaves, I had to find somewhere else to take my Brother. Thankfully, I found this place.

It used to be an Islamic school called the Al Jamia Al Islamia Institute for Education & Training and the buildings are owned by the RAF. Before it was a school, it was an officer's mess.

I think the school opened in about 1993 and closed in 2007. The building went up for auction recently, but was withdrawn on the same day (I don't know why.) It's guide price was £250,000. When I visited yesterday, there was another auction sign up, so I assume it's going back to auction again, but I don't know when. I think we should all chip in and buy it as an Urban Exploration UK Headquarters!

Here's some of my photos:

I can't wait to go back. My Brother was worried about getting caught by the non-existent security, so we didn't stay long (I would have stayed longer, but was spooked on my own!)
