Not all strictly derelict as such, although some of the loco's certainly are, but got some good pics from yesterday so thought I'd post some of them.

This is the Baby Deltic Project, they basically took a single Deltic engine and put it in a Class 37

Ah right, thanks for the info ;)

Are DRS based at Barrow Hill? Or do they just use it to store and maintain their locos?

Missed the gala, was it packed?

It was busy but not packed, certainly nowhere near as full as the steam gala.

DRS are based at Kingmoor, just North of Carlisle, however Barrow Hill undertake commercial repairs as well as stuff for the preserved scene. Not sure if that 37 is destined for repair or spares though/
