Visited here after spotting the place on a regular travel route. After a bit of research we found that the original house was built in approx 1851. It was eventually bought by the Local Health Authority who used it for caring for people with mental health problems. The property was enlarged in 1992 when the rear extension was built. Since then the place was sold and recently had planning permission turned down. The owners wanted to demolish it and build a new nursing home. Unfortunately we were unable to find much information but we are still investigating and will add more if we find any.
Meanwhile the place is sat awaiting its fate.

Thanks for looking.

this place in in lovely condition looks like someone started fitting a new kitchen and never finished great find guys and some good photos from both of you.

Nice find there i reckon that small window is very similar in size to one we have at home.

Nice find, very clean. Love that little baccy box with cotton reels or whatever they are called.

My Mum has a few of those around as she's a keen sewer. She used to use old Elastoplast & cough sweet tins until she got a box with the right sized spaces for each reel.
