    Wow. There's loads of them

It's quite sad to see though, it looks as though once it must have been a very busy little port.

Also this thread has just reminded me of an old ship wreck I'd forgotten about that I need to go photograph :)

    Great shots.
Living by the coast myself I have a great love of wrecks, although on the north coast of Cornwall you have to dive to see most of them,as the winter storms destroy everything.
I guess there are some good wrecks around Falmouth,I vaguely remember seeing some down Flushing, when my mate lived in Penryn.
Cheers for giving me a good excuse for another day's exploring.;)
PS. Strange how the skeleton of a boat resembles that of a fish?

I just love the pictures of the old boats. They will be on the shore for the rest of their life.

Yes, I always think that too...they remind me of beached whales, especially those that are down to the bare bones (no pun intended! ).
Great set of boats there, Trouserama. :)

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
