Here’s a short list of what was threatened with closure. Free local explore info

My local County Court was closed down, so it seemed a shame not to have a look.

Nice! I drive past this building at least once a week and didn't even notice it had closed!
    Very good as usual Prof!

    Default Boom time coming?

    What an excellent find!

One thing to bear in mind, the UK Gov have promised lots of cuts in public spending so it could be boom time for the Urbex community. Less money means more places close and less money to pay for security to look after them, after they close!

Nice find, Prof. It looks a lot more interesting than I'd expected. :)
Cheers for the info, too. I have something to watch out for now.

DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
