    Arrow Garage, Shropshire

Just 5 minutes from Lea Quarry is this rather nice old garage, complete with very old looking fuel pumps.

The car repair side of the business seems to still be operational.

    On with the pics

    Sweet pictures of bygone age,
I still think if I stare long enough at these little beauties I will wind the clock of time backwards [(it has no say!!?)] time! is mere creation of man...
Will we ever learn to bend it...?
    Great nostalgic shots,happy days!:)

Nice one - it takes me back to the late 60's early 70's when my dad had his Triumph Herald. Happy days :)

ha ha - I musta been on my way back to the car - you were parked behind me so I guess you had a few seconds more facing the garage than me

Didn't realised he'd glared - musta thought we were casing the joint - mind I did look a bit shifty in fairness

That's a lovely set of photos mate, especially liking the left hand pump. There must be quite a few of these old garages still out there waiting for the intrepid explorer to find.

rustysigns will be very happy with the Michelin sign. It's a pity there's no indication of fuel price, they always make me laugh or sometimes cry.
