Found this a couple of months back. For various reasons I'm not going to reveal the exact location here and now.

The station seems to have been built in the 1950s to test atmospheric instruments and monitor meteorological phenomena. Abandoned c. 2000-2004, it looks very much like everyone just walked away one day - computers, paperwork and instruments have been left behind and rather alarmingly no-one has thought to cut off the power or water yet. I even tried the button on an ancient desktop PC replete with huge CRT monitor and it sprang into life - quite a surprise.

Fantastic find!!! Did you come across a teleprinter to go with the punched tape, or was that just random crap?

Might be worth removing the shot of the notebook - data protection being what it is, the mobile number is rather evident on it.
