Ok, here's something a bit different! This garden centre closed in 2007 and a lot of the grounds have been developed for housing (the car park and the outside display areas and greenhouses). The main building was part of a farm that dates back to the 16th century, but was given permission for change of use to a garden centre in 1977.There is further development planned to convert this building to accommodation, but this was put in back in 2010 so we are unsure of the future of this building at the moment....

Explored with UE-OMJ - although he had no idea it was still here until I pointed it out :p

About 25 years ago, before Van Hages took it over, I installed a telephone system in that garden centre.:GEEK:
Doesn't time pass quick when you are enjoying yourself:sad:

And here's my photos from the day... I have to admit I quite enjoyed this one, except I wasnt too keen on the crunchy snails under-foot :( They were everywhere!

These bricked up doors/windows used to go to the outside areas, nothing there now but new houses.

And now its a nortel what delight did you install there bud?
Cant remember, but probably a 'London' system, it was a quarter of a bloody century ago!;) I do remember selling and installing one of those to March F1, in Bicester, about the same time.:)

I'm surprised those charity boxes were still there!
However I bet they had been emptied.
