I really liked this place!Even if it was pretty creepy at times!

I kinda believe in ghosts, but when exploring my main concern is security, and ghost don't come anywhere near the top of the "worry" list normally, but the leaves blowing down the corridor got me,lol!

The original Wye House was over the road and was built in the 19th century and was a private asylum, after it finished as an asylum it became Cavendish School which is now......houses!:(

No its ok. The builders were using it as storage and the lights were still on in places! But no problems, great night!!

:D

Ouch, you don't have to shout! lol. And the Saul Son did do the explore of the building two years ago. We don't explore buildings that have been converted, we only explore them when they're in a derelict state. Its part of history that should and has been documented. Too many places aren't documented and pics taken especially old asylums, and people who now live in these places sometimes have no knowledge of what the building was in the past.

I'd love to live in a converted building, and would love to know the history of these places before they're gone or changed forever. I personally think its a good idea to have a room (after conversion) as some kind of museum type place, in each of these old buildings with pictures and history of each place.

Welcome to Derelict Places.

:) Sal

Developer...
You obviously hadn't read the thread. As saul_son said at the time...one of the buildings had already been developed, and the other one was already in use by the builders.

Methinks we have a troll...

Yes doesnt seem to be the usual nice, UE person we would have on here. And I dont know anyone that shouts like that...!!!!!!

I'm not sure why people feel the need to encourage the friction. I would hazard a guess developer is someone who has involvement with the building and is trying to protect it.

We have moderators to deal with problems, we don't need members wading in as well.
