A rushed visit this was, after a fail early in the day. Got to say the only thing really worth seeing here is the main entrance hall/atrium, pretty much everything else has taken a severe beating at the hands of chavs and pikeys but because of the position of the security on site the main entrance lobby has thankfully been spared most of the attention...

Pretty much the whole place looks like this

But then you come to this and it all comes good.

Cheers for looking, a few more pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/mookie427/sets/72157633348947483/ :)

I agree with you there. When we went, must admit was a bit disappointed with most of it but the entrance hall is definately worth a look. Nice pics :)

Shame you had to rush this one as it takes a while to get around with all the seperate buildings. Yes the dome is looking flakier with each report.
Good pictures all the same.

Yeah it's well trashed now it's just thankful that the placing of the security cabin has meant the atrium has avoided most of the damage!

Trashed or not, the architecture in that place is stunning! :)
Great pics, cheers for sharing!

excellent, love the roof dome, doesnt looks too bad to says its been trashed, when did this place close it looks fairly moden.

Oh believe me over half the site is 1960s style buildings with suspended ceilings that have all been utterly ripped apart, this bit and a couple of other areas are really the only bits left intact - I didn't even get the camera out in the 1960s blocks it was too depressing!
